Virginia M. Hensley Education or Health Care Transfer Scholarship for Highest Achieving KCC Graduate

The Virginia M. Hensley Transfer Scholarship for Highest Achieving KCC Graduate(s) is awarded to a student graduating with their associate degree from KCC in December 2024, May 2025 or Summer 2025. Two $10,000 scholarships will be granted in May 2024, and it is renewable for a second year. One scholarship is for students majoring in Health Care and the second one is for students majoring in Education.
*Additional scholarship requirements: *

• Must be transferring to a publicly funded baccalaureate degree-granting institution as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Must have graduated high school in the last three-four years.
• Must have received at least half of their credits from KCC.
• Interviews are part of the selection process of this scholarship opportunity.
