Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship for KCC Graduates

The Walter and Lucille Harper Transfer Scholarship for KCC Graduates was established in 2002 by an anonymous donor and KCC alum. The donor admired Walter and Lucille for their moral and emotional support to him throughout his life.

This scholarship is awarded to a student who graduates from KCC with an associate degree and transfers to a four-year, publicly-funded college or university following graduation.

As this fund grew over many years, the scholarship award is now $5,000 and is offered to six students who meet the scholarship eligibility criteria.
