Kay White Memorial Scholarship

Kay White received her Bachelor’s of Science from Los Angeles University and her Master’s Degree in Community College Education at Western Michigan University. In 1961, she married Leon White and they raised a son and daughter together.

Her career began at the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital and brought her many opportunities later at Oakland Children’s Hosptial, Columbia University Medical Center Children’s Hospital, Yale Michigan Hospital and Leila Hospital in Battle Creek.

Mrs. White became a KCC nursing instructor in pediatrics in the mid 1970’s until her passing in 1991.
