Eldon and Emma had twins, Lindsay and Linda, in 1947 and moved to Pennfield in 1956. Eldon worked at Jack Pearl’s selling sporting goods to high schools and colleges, sold cars, and retired as the veterans counselor for Calhoun County. He was also heavily involved in the American Legion and was a 50-year continuous member pin holder as well as managing the American Legion twice.

The Eldon & Emma Draime Memorial Scholarship was set up by their children to honor their parents. Eldon and Emma were always proud of their children’s accomplishments and truly believe in the importance of education.
