Barbara and William B. Comai Scholarship
The Barbara and William B. Comai Scholarship was established in 2022 by Barbara Comai, a long-time Battle Creek civic leader. This scholarship awards $1,500 per semester for four-consecutive semesters (Fall and Spring only) at a Michigan college or university to a KCC student who plans to graduate with an associate degree or has at least 30 credits at KCC and will transfer to a private or public college/university in Michigan in the year of application. Eligible students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 at KCC, reside in the Battle Creek area at the time of application, and plan to take 50% of post-secondary coursework in-person/on-campus. Students in any field of study who meet these criteria will be considered. The scholarship award can be used for tuition, fees, required books, on-campus housing, or other expenses that may prohibit the recipient from attending college.
